Walk Over & Drive Over Tree Grille Sub Frames

From cradle to grave. The rated drive over tree grille sub frame (B125) was designed and tested to support 125kN (the equivalent of a 12.5 tonne vehicle) over an empty pit. At the same time, it successfully supported existing Ferrocast tree grille products in a variety of sizes (1.0m², 1.2m², 1.4m² & 1.8m²). From concept designs, FEA simulations, product testing, costing, marketing support, jigs, production drawings to BOM’s and routes. This project covered every aspect required to design and develop a new rated product and bring it to market.
