3D modelling collaboration. Following importing and extracting the relevant information from Auto CAD and PDF files from Gormley Group and other contractors, selected areas of the two buildings were then modelled in Solidworks. Issues were highlighted and design proposals discussed via Teams and the use of eDrawings with Gormley Group and Michael Barclay Partnership LLP. Models were updated and technical drawings (component and GA’s) for both stonework and steelwork were created and issued. CAD files for laser cutting steelwork and CNC stonework were also issued to help aid manufacture.
