Masters Final Piece
Another Perspective
Exhibition piece. A simplified adaptation of life based on those born in Jerusalem and the two very different paths of life. One through force justified by the strength in their convictions. The other who chooses to talk and negotiate, partaking in the arduous peace process and desires peace above all. The hand verses the fist. As they age both paths take its toll, and the two paths meet again since being seemingly separated at birth. Both have lost and both are tired and recognise their desires are not so dissimilar. They now conclude their lives both looking back and down on those who are now entering the world. Hoping those that follow do not live the lives they have had, find common ground, peace, and learn from their mistakes. The objective of the piece is one of reflection. We are all born into the world. Our environments influence our lives. We all will leave this world. We all may have different views and ways of achieving goals, but we are not that dissimilar to one another, and we all have common ground. We all can help influence those that follow to learn from our mistakes and evolve as a global society. We all can reflect and change.
